Fried Frank promotes one London, seven New York lawyers
Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson has promoted London lawyer David Christmas to asset management partner.
Although the firm has now promoted eight lawyers to partner globally this year, Christmas is the first City lawyer to be made up since 2014, when corporate specialist Jons Lehmann and competition expert Tobias Caspary were made partners.
After closing its Shanghai and Hong Kong branches in 2015, Fried Frank has only two offices outside the US, in London and Frankfurt. The seven other promotions from this year were granted to lawyers in the firm’s New York office.
