DWF gets approval for Qatar launch
DWF has been granted a license to open an office in Qatar. The office will be the firm’s fourth in the Middle East, after opening branches in Dubai, Jeddah, and Riyadh, beginning with Dubai in 2015.
The license, granted by Qatar Financial Centre, gives the firm another opportunity to build up its infrastructure, energy, and construction disputes practice.
Construction and infrastructure partner John Coghlan, DWF’s 2016 hire from Addleshaw Goddard, will be the leader of the new office.
This latest launch is a continuation of the increasing globalization of DWF, after launching an Italy office last October and announcing an alliance in Turkey last week.
