Morrison Foerster’s revenue skyrockets in London
Morrison & Foerster’s (MoFo) UK revenue grew by nearly a third in 2017, making it a banner year for the City office.
Easily surpassing its already impressive global revenue increase of 12% to $1.06bn, the firm’s UK revenue shot up by 29% to £24.72m. MoFo’s Europe managing partner Paul Friedman labeled it a “transformational year” and pointed to an increase in connectivity with both clients and other MoFo colleagues as one cause for the sharp rise.
Notable deals on which the firm acted include a $2.4bn sale on behalf of Toshiba and Innovation Network Corporation of Japan, as well as advisement for SoftBank Group in its $4.4bn investment in WeWork Companies.
