Deutsche Börse appoints Linklaters alum as general counsel

February 23, 2018 Deutsche Börse has announced the appointment of former Linklaters partner Michael Lappe as its general counsel.

Lappe spent over 20 years at Linklaters in Germany, becoming Germany senior partner in 2004. He was a main engineer in Linklaters’ merger with German firm Oppenhoff & Radler. His more recent experience includes five years as a senior advisor at Ermgassen & Co and over three years consulting at Jomati Consultants.

Lappe replaces Roger Muller, who by mutual agreement is leaving the company at the end of this month.
