Mayer Brown recruits K&E partner for banking practice
Mayer Brown has brought on former Kirkland & Ellis corporate partner James John Antonopoulos to join its banking and finance practice.
Antonopoulos focuses on automobile loans and leases and equipment loans, but more generally he advises on issues of asset-backed securities, both public and private. According to Mayer Brown’s co-leader of structured finance Stuart Litwin, Antonopoulos is hoping that Mayer Brown’s platform combined with his industry knowledge will serve to expand his practice further.
Managing partner of the firm’s Chicago office Rebecca Eisner praised Fordham, noting his experience and his “strong profile in the market.”
