A&O partner to give evidence in Weinstein-related case
Allen & Overy partner has been called upon to give evidence regarding non-disclosure agreements in cases of sexual harassment, due to the firm’s representation of Harvey Weinstein nearly 20 years ago.
Employment partner Mark Mansell and former assistant to Weinstein Zelda Perkins will appear on Wednesday before the Women and Equalities Committee.
Also appearing at the session will be Simons Muirhead & Burton partner Tamara Ludlow, who represented Perkins in 1999 when she first filed the claim of sexual harassment against Weinstein.
Several firms have now been involved in cases brought up by the revelation of Weinstein’s misconduct, including Boies Schiller & Flexner, K&L Gates, and Fieldfisher.
