Morrison & Foerster to find new London office space
Morrison & Foerster is searching for new office space in London as the expiration of its current lease draws closer.
According to the firm’s European managing partner Paul Friedman, the firm will be leaving its current office at 1 Ropemaker Street in London in two years, when the lease is up.
Part of the discussion within and surrounding firm’s move is about the possibility of reconfiguring to an open plan layout, as opposed to cellular. It’s a strategy considered by many firms when faced with the opportunity of having new offices. For example, when Latham & Watkins moved offices in New York and London last year, it opted to try out the open plan configuration, whereas Sidley Austin stuck with the cellular model after its recent move.
