Clydes to reconsider relationships with Indian best friends firms
Clyde & Co is preparing to perform a comprehensive review of the relationships it has with Indian firms, suggesting a potential breaking of ties.
Rumors first began circulating a month ago that Mumbai and Delhi-based firm Clasis Law’s relationship with the firm was on the brink of a change. However, according to a Clydes spokesperson, the firm’s review of its India relationships will include all its allied firms in the region, such as CSL Chambers and others.
Clydes and Clasis first began their relationship after the former firm’s separation from another Indian best friend firm ALMT Legal. After the split between Clydes and ALMT, five ALMT partners departed from the firm in order to launch Clasis Law.
