Akerman merger with Wolf Block on hold

The proposed merger of Akerman Senterfitt and Wolf Block is in limbo because of an undisclosed client conflict. A joint statement released by the law firms’ chairmen confirmed they are in merger talks, but it said certain issues, including “a client conflict that cannot be discussed publicly”, remain under discussion.
