K&L Gates continues Asian growth with Eversheds hire
K&L Gates has hired Eversheds Sutherland’s Asia head of technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) Nigel Stamp.
Hong Kong-based Stamp has been a partner at Eversheds for close to seven years. Prior to that, he also led Morrison & Foerster’s TMT practice in China and worked at Clifford Chance.
K&L Gates has been busy building its Asian offices lately, with Stamp being the third new partner brought in this month. Stamp’s hire follows behind those of energy partner Owen Chio who joined from KPMG in Taipei and corporate partner Dooyong Kang who joined from Jones Day in Tokyo.
