Clifford Chance Asia managing partner Jim Baird steps down due to ill health

Magic Circle firm Clifford Chance has revealed that its Asia managing partner, Jim Baird, has stepped down from his post, effective immediately. Baird is believed to have fallen ill while traveling through Asia recently and is currently in a critical condition in a Hong Kong hospital.
