BCLP announces first legal tech start-up Swiftagree
Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner has launched legal tech start-up Swiftagree, an online contracting tool.
Having just merged in April, the firm stated that the contracting tool, specializing in creating non-disclosure agreements, is the first of several that it hopes to launch this year. Swiftagree was designed by partner Barry Gross and BCLP’s legal technologist Bruce Braude.
Unlike the technology incubation programs offered by other firms, BCLP is aiming to use the in-house talents of such developers as Gross and Braude to build start-ups from the ground up, though it also used the assistance of technology platform provider Surely Group in the development of Swiftagree.
