Eversheds celebrates rising revenue and PEP post-merger
Eversheds Sutherland is celebrating a big boost in its revenue and profit per equity partner (PEP).
The firm’s revenue increased by 13% from £438.6m to £494.6m. Its PEP followed very much in the same vein with a 12% rise from £726,000 to £812,000. The bump in numbers is a vast improvement on last year’s 4% revenue dip and 2% PEP decrease.
The soaring numbers can be mainly attributed to the firm’s merger with US firm Sutherland Asbill & Brennan, which took place in February 2017. Eversheds chief executive Lee Ranson stated that the growth was largely due to the merger, but also organic, adding that the firm is beginning to “build momentum” after several uninspiring years.
