DWF revealed to have raised capital contributions in 2017
DWF called upon its equity partnership for further capital contributions in late 2017, according to The Lawyer. This is the firm’s first contributions raise in seven years.
The decision was made by DWF’s 12-member board, led by CEO and managing partner Andrew Leaitherland, chairman Nigel Knowles, and non-executive chairman Alan Benzie. Fixed share partners were exempt from the raise.
Equity partners account for just over a quarter of the firm’s 275-member partnership, with a total of 70. With a range of £182,000 to £847,000, the average propfit per equity partner is £304,000.
