Andersen global expands into India with two tie-ups
Vaish Associates Advocates and Nangia Advisors, expanding its Indian offerings.
Andersen Global is a firm with a tumultuous history, particularly in its name and branding. After the Enron accounting scandal in 2002, law firm Arthur Andersen’s tax practice was purchased by HSBC. The remainder of the firm was formed into a new entity called Wealth and Tax Advisory Services (WTAS).
A decade later, WTAS returned to its former branding by renaming itself Anderson Tax in 2014. Attached to that was advisory network WTAS Global, which was also rebranding to Andersen Global.
