Mayer Brown retains 80% in September 2018 round
Mayer Brown has retained eight of its 10 trainees in its September 2018 round, with no fixed term contracts.
The eight lawyers offered positions all accepted them. They will be distributed into four practices: corporate and securities will receive two, banking and finance will receive two, antitrust and competition will receive one, and dispute resolution will receive three.
The retention rate is on par with last year’s autumn round, in which the firm retained eight of 11 qualifiers, making 73%. The spring round was smaller, but all four of the qualifiers were kept.
