Simmons celebrates faster growth in 2017/18 financial year
Simmons & Simmons has posted surging growth figures for both its revenue and profit per equity partner (PEP).
The London firm’s revenue rose 12% to £354m in the 2017/8 financial year, a significant improvement on last year’s 7% rise. The firm’s PEP saw a more moderate growth with an 8% increase to £686,000.
Simmons managing partner Jeremy Hoyland gave large amounts of credit to the firm’s core sectors: funds, healthcare and life sciences, financial institutions, and TMT. The combined revenue of these practices accounted for 76% of the firm’s total income.
