Shoosmiths posts encouraging financials with double-digit growth
Shoosmiths has announced its 2017/18 financials, boasting double-digit increases in net profit and turnover, while also posting record high profit per equity partner (PEP) figures.
The firm’s net profit shot up by 22% from £29.4m to £35.8m. Its turnover increased 10% from £116.7m to £128.5m. Meanwhile its PEP rose from £368,000 to £434,000.
Shoosmiths chairman Peter Duff pointed out the firm’s growth in recently launched branches in Leeds and Belfast, where the headcount rose by 107% and 83% respectively. He also highlighted the firm’s “investment” in agile working, which rolled out in Leeds and Manchester this financial year.
