Clyde’s American expansion comes through for successful financials
Clyde & Co’s financials show yet another year of significant revenue and profitability growth, in a year marked by international expansion.
The firm’s revenue rose by 9% to £551.3m in 2017/18, and its profitability benefited from a 10% increase to £140.5m. Though the firm added 63 partners in the year by way of promotions and lateral hires, its profit per equity partner (PEP) managed to increase by 2% as well.
Half of Clyde’s revenue can now be accounted for by international operations, with the Americas making a particularly strong showing. This comes with the launches of branches in Mexico City, Los Angeles, and Orange County in the last financial year.
