HSF appoints corporate crime director in South Africa
Herbert Smith Freehills has appointed a new director of corporate crime and investigations, hiring partner Cameron Dunstan-Smith from Bowman Gilfillan in South Africa.
Dunstan-Smith began his career as a clerk at Goodrickes Attorneys. After that he held short stints at KPMG and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer before joining Bowmans, where he has spent close to eight years.
Dunstan-Smith’s experience is in anti-bribery and corruption cases, mainly advising multi-national companies that trade in Africa.
