Freshfields recovers its retention rate in latest round
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has posted in autumn 2018 retention, bouncing back from its previous two rounds with an 83% rate.
The firm offered newly qualified positions to 37 of its 41 final-seat trainees, and 34 of those that received offers accepted them. This figure improves on those of the last two rounds, in which only 66% and 74% of the trainees stayed on.
Trainee development partner Farah Ispahani commented that the return to form is something the firm hopes to maintain, and that it “demonstrates consistency” when it comes to developing young talent.
