Latham brings on DLA antitrust partner in Madrid

Latham & Watkins has hired José Maria Jiménez Laiglesia from DLA Piper, where he previously served as the firm’s head of competition. He joins Latham’s Madrid office as a partner and will work with the firm’s M&A and finance teams. Latham’s Madrid office has seen a wave of expansion since last year’s hire of Juan Picón, who also joined the firm from DLA. Since Picón’s hire, the firm has increased its Madrid headcount from 18 to nearly 50.
