LALIVE to open London outpost
LALIVE, a Swiss disputes firm, has announced the opening of a new London office. The new office will focus on arbitration, particularly with regard to investment treaties and commercial matters.
Partners Marc Veit and Timothy Foden will lead the new office, which will serve as an arbitration hub in the post-Brexit era. Foden previously served as of counsel at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan before joining LALIVE.
According to Veit, the firm is convinced that London will continue to act as an important international hub for arbitration, as the city is likely to be considered a neutral non-EU location.
