David Green QC to join Slaughters

Slaughter and May confirmed that the firm has finalized the hire of David Green QC, who will join the firm as a senior consultant. He formerly served as director of the Serious Fraud Office (SFO). The hire was reportedly delayed due to conflicts, as Slaughters is involved with current investigations under review at the SFO. The firm has noted that Green will not work on any matters at the firm related to his work while at the SFO. According to Slaughters senior partner Steve Cooke, the hire will help boost the firm’s contentious capabilities.
