Sidley finance partner exits for Vinson & Elkins

Sidley Austin capital markets partner Noel Hughes has left left the firm to join Vinson & Elkins, a US firm. Hughes’ exit is the latest for Sidley Austin, which has seen a number of recent departures from the firm. Prior to joining Sidley Austin in 2016 as a partner, Hughes spent four years at Paul Hastings as an associate, and previously worked at Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy. At Vinson & Elkins, he will be a part of the leveraged finance practice, in addition to likely supporting its US high-yield practice.
