Ashurst boosts NQ pay to nearly £100,000

Ashurst has announced that the firm has boosted its pay rates for newly qualified (NQ) lawyers. Base salary for newly qualified solicitors has been increased from £76,000 to £82,000, with a potential total pay package of £94,300, including performance bonuses. Solicitors with one year of qualified experience will see their base pay increase from £80,000 to £86,000, up to a total of £98,900, including bonuses. Pay for 2PQEs has been increased from £87,000 to £94,000, and up to £117,500 with bonus. According to Ashurst London managing partner Simon Beddow, the firm’s strong financial results have allowed it to offer competitive pay packages.
