New hires at Eversheds, DLA, and Ashurst

Several firms have announced recent new hires, including Eversheds Sutherland, DLA Piper, and Ashurst. Eversheds hired Stewart Womersley, who joins the firm’s corporate practice from Addleshaw Goddard. DLA Piper hired Borja de Obeso from Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, where he was an arbitration prtner. Meanwhile, former White & Case partner Matthew Wood joined Ashurst in Abu Dhabi, where he will head up the firm’s project finance practice for the Africa region.
