Mayer Brown promotes 34 in largest round since 2012
Mayer Brown has announced its largest round of partner promotions since 2012, promoting a total of 34 new partners across its global offices this year.
The firm made up four partners in London, including Giles Bywater, Merryn Craske, James Morries, and James Whitaker. Bywater is an employment lawyer who trained at Mayer Brown, while Whitaker, who also trained at Mayer Brown, is a litigator. Craske trained at Baker McKenzie and will be a partner in the banking and finance practice, and Morris is a litigator who trained at Nabarro.
The firm also made up new partners in Hong Kong and Washington DC, among other cities worldwide.
