Weil team in Prague spins off independent firm

The entire Prague team of Weil, Gotshal & Manges is set to depart from the firm with the launch of a new spinoff firm. The team is led by Karel Muzikář, who currently serves as managing partner of the Prague office, and also includes partners Petr Severa, Karolina Horakova, and Karel Drevinek. Following the move, Weil will see a significant reduction in its central and eastern European presence. Weil will continue operating in Warsaw, which will be the firm’s only remaining office in the region.
