Allen & Overy announces spring 2019 trainee retention

Allen & Overy has announced its latest trainee retention rates for the firm’s spring 2019 round. Out of 47 trainees, 43 applied for roles with the firm. A&O extended offers to 40 trainees, with 39, or 83% of the total cohort, accepting roles as newly-qualified solicitors with the firm. According to training principal Claire Wright, the firm has a promising group of new lawyers, and the latest retention rate demonstrates the firm’s commitment to retaining top lawyers.
