Cravath, Swaine & Moore cuts bonuses

Cravath, Swaine & Moore announced reduced end-of-year associate bonuses last week in a memo to its staff. The numbers are down sharply from last year. The bonuses start at a pro-rated $17,500 for first-year associates and rise to $30,000 for seventh- and eighth-years.
