Clifford Chance asks partners for $92 million

Clifford Chance, the world’s largest law firm by revenue, asked 400 equity partners to contribute a total of $92 million to raise cash. Clifford Chance, which reported record revenue of 1.3 billion pounds for the last financial year, asked partners to contribute about 150,000 pounds each. Additionally, the firm will lay off up to eighty associates in its London office.
