Clifford Chance to cut partners in latest law firm shake-up

Clifford Chance LLP, the world’s largest law firm by revenue, plans to reduce the size of its partnership as the effects of the financial crisis hit the City’s "Magic Circle" law firms. The news comes just days after closest rival Linklaters announced that it may cut dozens of partners and up to 120 of its London associates.
