McDermott partner: Coffee cutback sends 'message of desperation'

Following layoffs announced at McDermott Will & Emery in February, the firm decided to reduce its coffee service in its Chicago headquarters office in another effort to cut costs. A partner says the coffee cutback was a mistake, as it will make only a small difference financially while sending a "message of desperation."
