Wachovia and Wells Fargo's removal attempt in Citigroup suit unsuccessful

A US federal district judge has ruled that a lawsuit brought by Citigroup against US banks Wachovia and Wells Fargo alleging interference with Citigroup's attempt to acquire Wachovia last October belongs in state court. The defendants had attempted to seek federal court control over the suit.
