JP Morgan brings action to protect WaMu asset purchase

In response to a US bankruptcy court action brought by the former parent of failed lender Washington Mutual, US bank JP Morgan sought a declaration that it properly took over WaMu's assets. The action was brought against the former parent and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
