AIG being investigated by US State authorities for insurance rates

Insurer AIG is being investigated by the state authorities of 50 US states based on questions whether the firm violated laws governing workers' compensation insurance. The investigation began as the result of a New York probe into the method used by the company to calculate how much it owed to state workers' compensation insurance pools.
