Top 100 US law firms lost almost 5% profit per partner in 2008
According to the publication The American Lawyer, which ranks the country's highest-grossing law firms in its "AmLaw 100," among these top-grossing firms the profit per partner dropped by 4.3% in 2008. The magazine stated that this is the first time in eighteen years that profit per partner has diminished.
