Travers names Lilley as new managing partner
Travers Smith has appointed Andrew Lilley to succeed Chris Carroll as managing partner, it was announced today (28 May). Lilley, Travers’ head of employment, will take over the leadership of the firm on 1 January 2010 when Carroll’s third term as managing partner expires. Carroll served nine years at the helm of the City firm. Lilley (pictured), who joined Travers in 1995 and made partner in 1997, has been appointed for an initial three-year term following an informal consultation process with the 66-strong partnership, led by senior partner Alasdair Douglas.
