Barnes & Thornburg acquires Minneapolis firm
Indianapolis-based Barnes & Thornburg LLP will acquire The Parsinen Law Firm, a 22-lawyer practice in Minneapolis that specializes in business litigation, employment, real estate, corporate, energy, and trusts and estates. It will be the third out-of-state law office Barnes & Thornburg has opened or acquired this year. Barnes & Thornburg managing partner Alan Levin said the firm was eager to open a Minneapolis branch so it could bring its IP practice to the Twin Cities. Barnes & Thornburg now has 10 offices and about 475 lawyers nationwide, ranking it among the 100 largest law firms in the US.
