Linklaters beats Clifford Chance + Freshfields

July 4, 2009 Linklaters announced a rise in revenues for the year ending April to £1.29 billion, which makes it the UK's highest-grossing law firm.

Magic Circle rivals Clifford Chance and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer had just reported a turnover of £1.287bn/£1.26bn for the last financial year.

However, average profits per equity partner (PEP) at Linklaters fell by 10 percent to £1.3 million, less than Freshfields’ PEP of £1.44m.
