114 opt for the voluntary redundancy program at Allens

July 6, 2009 More than 100 employees at Australian law firm Allens Arthur Robinson have opted for the firm's voluntary redundancy program, including lawyers, corporate services staff and secretaries.

About a dozen had asked for redundancies but were refused, because they were working in essential services, Allens spokesman Chris Fogarty said.

Allens' partnership has shrunk from 200 partners to 193 partners compared to last year.
