DLA Piper lawyer Ron Schiller trades Big Law for boutique
Ron Schiller, head of DLA’s litigation practice in Philadelphia, is the latest senior lawyer to jump from a global firm to a boutique, 50-lawyer firm Hangley Aronchick Segal & Pudlin. Other big US firms have been losing senior lawyers in the last months. In March, a Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP partner quit to financial-services boutique BuckleySandler LLP. In May, four Clifford Chance LLP litigators quit the New York office of the London-based firm to set up arbitration boutique Chaffetz Lindsey LLP.
