Stanford investors file $7bn class action against Proskauer Rose

Investor client of Stanford Financial Group have filed a class action against US law firm Proskauer Rose and its partner Thomas Sjoblom in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas in Dallas. The investor group acuses Proskauer of aiding and abetting with Stanford Financial Group Co. and Antigua-based Stanford International Bank Ltd. in a fraudulent scheme, making the law firm liable for $7 billion in total fraud losses.
