Dewey & LeBoeuf represents eBay on $1.9bn Skype deal

September 3, 2009 Just one month after hiring eBay's longtime advisers from Cooley Godward Kronish, Dewey & LeBoeuf has won a mandate to represent the acution site on its $1.9bn deal to sell a controlling interest in Skype to investors.

Sidley Austin also advised eBay on the deal, while Sullivan & Cromwell advised Silver Lake, the private equity firm that led the consortium of buyers.
