SJ Berwin suspends profit distributions after profit plunge

UK law firm SJ Bewin has suspended quarterly profit share payments to partners after partner profits fell from £802,000 to £410,000. However, partners still receive their monthly drawings of £12,500 to £17,000, which amounts to 25 percent of the average partner’s annual compensation.
