SJ Berwin's international growth continues with Shanghai launch

SJ Berwin has launched its second Asian office, setting up a base in the Chinese city of Shanghai. The move comes after the firm earlier this year moved away from its traditional European roots, launching in Hong Kong in March (23 March 2009) and Dubai in April (6 April 2009). The Shanghai office will focus on fund formation, M&A, private equity and real estate. The office launches with two senior associates, Phillipp Senff and Hailong Ji, who have relocated from Frankfurt.
