A&O targets white collar crime with hire of Hong Kong litigation partner

Allen & Overy (A&O) has added to its Hong Kong offering with the hire of a litigation partner from Mallesons Stephen Jaques. Hong Kong-based white collar crime specialist Simon Clarke is currently in discussions with Mallesons about the terms and timing of his intended departure from the firm. Clarke has been a partner with Mallesons since the Australia-based practice merged with his former firm Kwok & Yih in 2004. He focuses on complex commercial litigation including advising on corporate collapses and international commercial fraud cases. The hire will bring the number of litigation partners in A&O's Hong Kong office to three. In total, the office currently has around 20 partners and a total lawyer count of around 100.
