Amarchand hires UK law firm manager to improve efficiency

Indian law firm Amarchand Mangaldas has hired Valerie Bowles, a former UK firm manager, for the newly created role of chief operating officer (COO). Bowles, who will join the Mumbai office of Amarchand, will create a 100-day-plan to improve internal management at the firm.
