Merged law firm will be called Husch Blackwell Sanders

A coin flip decided it: The combined firm of Husch & Eppenberger LLC and Blackwell Sanders LLP will go by the name of Husch Blackwell Sanders LLP. Firm officials said they figured an arbitrary coin toss was the best way to hammer out a moniker for what has been described as a merger of equals. "It was important to both of us that we go into this as equals; Husch won the toss," David Fenley, chairman of Blackwell Sanders LLP and future co-chairman of Husch Blackwell Sanders LLP, said in a release Thursday.
